Jordan Preparing a Squirrel dinner during training.
Jordan has been involved with Trueways for 3 years and is a significant part of the UK course instructional team. He actively leads 'True Ways' courses all throughout the year and plays a significant role in course planning and logistics. His experience is based on spending all of his spare time teaching courses or practicing his skills with the other members of the team.
Jordan is an experienced trapper and fisherman and as a butchers son, his knowledge of and experience in preparing meat and game is first rate. Jordan has also been involved with the Trueways Arctic training program, training well within the Arctic circle with the team last year. He is also a fully trained first aider with experience in hot and cold injuries.
When he's not outdoors teaching, Jordan works in the Trueways Survival Shop as an advisor, assisting expedition clients in kit and equipment selection. Jordan is also a qualified sports coach and holds a qualification in safeguarding and protecting children. With what time he has left, Jordan enjoys climbing, abseiling and hiking.
Working with Lofty and the rest of the team has ensured that Jordan is a highly valued and very capable team member.
